Mentirosa (Mellow Man Ace song)

"Mentirosa" is a single by Mellow Man Ace from his debut album, ''Escape from Havana''.
Using a sample of Santana's "No One To Depend On", and "Evil Ways", " "Mentirosa" was one of the first songs produced by Tony G, with scratches provided by Tony's younger brother Julio G. The song became Ace's only top 40 single, reaching No. 14 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and spending 24 weeks on the chart. In addition, the song earned a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America and reached No. 99 on the Billboard Year-End Hot 100 singles of 1990. The song is in Spanglish.
